Slafkovský being likened to Alex Ovechkin or Jaromír Jágr? Are you serious. I was at the Buffalo game and everyone on social media was bubbling over Slafkovský after the game. I still can't understand what all the fuss is about. Yes he wasn't terrible and actually he skated pretty good. But what your overlooking is he was the FIRST PICK OVERALL. And to me if your a first overall pick you have to dominate teams especially a Buffalo defense that had players that weren't even playing in the AHL let alone grown men in the NHL.
