I would argue it kind of does. What we saw from them was A) the willingness to not give up when things went a little sideways and 2) how to stay competitive when they could not play the style of game they wanted to.
Those are huge lessons! They both learned them and found success with them. Heading into next season with that knowledge and (limited) success in your back pocket is a huge advantage over where they’ve been. So it should be safe to expect more success assuming they come in with the same work ethic and don’t totally phone it in.
